I'm starting to code in Fluxus ( http://www.pawfal.org/Software/fluxus/ ) now
(but really just started)
it's my first time doing this kind of language with real-time feedback.
I really like what we can do with lists in there.
I know it's also one thing we have on the feature request for chuck..

but is there some way to incoporate ChucK & Scheme
and use scheme as an engine for list manipulation realtime?

it's quite a big question, i'm quite new in the area,
but I hope something can be worked out to make use of the list manipulation feature.

Yeah, Fluxus is great! I haven't done lot with it yet, mainly modifying the examples, but I like it a lot. I mainly like the partial code-replacement and additions where you can update just one line of code by highlighting it and hitting F5.

Anyway, Scheme/Lisp style list manipulation should be something you could implement yourself as soon as you have lists.... and there was a good example on how how to make proper lists a long time ago on the mailing list. I just tried looking for it but the annoying thing is that all posts to the list end with info on about the mailing list which is quite annoying if you are searching for info on "lists".

Anyway, from there on the issue will probably be garbage collection, Lisp (Scheme's grand-daddy) basically invented garbage collection because that kind of stuff really needs it. I'm not sure how far this stuff would fly, practically, right now....

Yes. I was reading about appending objects to a stack with ChucK.
The method use new to create new data and store old reference to use when popping.
I'm just worried about garbage collection heheh -_-
