I have a custom dual ADSR board with outputs that indicate when the D and R stages are activated that I'd be happy to trade for a PS3100 board.

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

The main circuit is from the ASM-1
http://home.swipnet.se/cfmd/synths/friends/stopp/asm1adsr.pdf

I had the board manufactured by futurlec - it's double sided (no screen-print or mask). Works great. The module was intended to be used for complex multiple stage envelopes. Add the two envelopes together, with one being triggered by for example the release stage of the other, and you get some interesting envelopes. I find that I use the two independently more frequently, or use one as a trigger delay generator. The LED's use CGS LED boards (not included on the main board.).

It's a great module, and you'd be the only other person on the planet with one.

I'd like see another run of these one day as well. I'd do etch the one on his site, but it doesn't include the LFO and the all important LEDs.

TRIPLE RESONANT FILTER MOTM-410 uses three VTL5C4/2 ; it's based on the same design, isn't it ?

Anyone's tried different vactrols for this module ?

C4 ain't too fast ? some values have to be tweaked ?

http://www.synthtech.com/tech/M410_bom.pdf

PS : I've build this with Radio Junk Box mixer section with no real improvment... (dual ganged pot, mixing cursors, TL07x buffer)

different CV circuitry, different LFO (more versatile). i don't know who original designed this OpAmp based VCBP. some members here will just know it, i bet. i could take a look at electronotes. AFAIK bernie hutchins investigated such things discussing filter designs.

you aren't referring to C16 on my schematic?

different builders experienced different ratio of wet/dry signal. you could tweak this by changing R11.

if i did a 2nd run of PCBs i would place a resistor+trimmer there. the mix section would be just a single potentiometer followed by an OpAmp buffer (the remaining OpAmp could then be used for inverting one of the CVs).

sorry, too hurry, i was refering to vactec vtl5C4...

(I put 15k instead of 10k for R11, "effect gain" resistor)

About separate outputs, buffers didn't seem to make any great difference here too...
I've put three outputs sockets, but I guess only one is useful (normalised type, a jack disconnecting one filter from the mixer section built around U3b) ; one filter on LEFT channel, the two others mixed then routed to RIGHT channel.

a la MAM RS3...

Now i'm looking for a simple envelope follower circuit that would do "some frequency separation at three ranges, "Low", "Mid", and "High", with a separate follower circuit at the output of each of these "channels".

http://www.midiwall.com/gear/rs3.html

Planned for spring 2008, maybe this should be a good start...

I agree with Loss, I hope this board is offered again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I've press and peeled this one twise, and haven't been able to get it running yet. I am planning on using 3 or 4 filters in my modular, and I would like this to be one.
I'd love a manufactured PCB (in case you are taking note of interest in a new PCB run).

don't have much time these days 'cos we're moving. would a 2nd run of the first version do? otherwise we would have to wait with a 2nd run until april/may. opinions?

If that is the version shown on your website, and the one all these people are talking about, then it would do very well for me.

Are you refering to the one offered here on Em previously? That is the one I wanted.

yes, the one offered here a year ago.
the thing is, i mentioned the possibility of an improved version with buffered output above. that would have required a new layout, breadboarding, prototyping and all that...

Iwould be glad to buy one like the ones already offered. If, in the future, you decided to sell an improved and updated version, I might well buy that as well. For now, I'd take what you could sell me.

I'd prefer the version without LFO(I think that's the first version). But I'd definitely be interested in whichever is offered.

no problem at all. the 1st and only version offered here did provide the simple LFO, but it was independent from the actual resonators circuit.

i will change some footprints on the layout this week and then start a new thread for a possible 2nd run (evaluation).

the LFO is part of the PCB layout, but is independent from the resonators though. take a look at the building docs:
