I was wondering if anyone could link me some examples of vocals routed through Metasonix gear. If there aren't any, can some of you that own the gear record some crazy shit you can do with your voice when it is hooked up to Metasonix stuff? I would really appreciate it as I am currently on the lookout for the right vocal effects gear to suit the sound I am going for.

Well... I guess no one in existance has ever done this. I've done every type of search.. text, audio, video... and I can't find one single thing about hooking vocals up to this stuff. I did find a SENTENCE of someone mentioning the idea in a review, but that's it.

Did you check the FAQ page?

Trust me you'll know when you hear it Smile Vocals are ran through the TM-1

I don't sing so no vocal processing for me with my TM boxes

Very interesting. It's not much, but at least it is some idea. I would still like some examples of other pedals, and maybe some real time tweaking while singing.

Well, I'm a singer and I have the TM-1, TM-2, TM-3, TM-5, TM-6, TM-7 and S-1000. I'll try to throw together some vocal processing demos. I know that I've used the TM-5 and TM-2 for vocals. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I'll use every circuit for processing, even the oscillators.

Hey Derek, if you send me a sample, I'll run it through a tm7 & post it up for you.
I don't think you want to hear my voice. LoL.

I think there are probably better distortion units for vocals but here it is.

Note: For your speakers sake open with caution, this samples running hot ...

I am running my voice through a Scrotum Smasher for vocals on this song live.
