looks a bit more like a elaborate monophonic. I personnally don't like 5voices max, a polysynth to my opinion needs 8 voices at least, otherwise it hinders in playing and i might as well go for a monophonic synth.
for the rest it looks oke, although listening would be prefered first.
might be nice for dance, don't think i would swap it for my a6 though that's always a very personal decision afcourse. after all i have also enough other synth's to use.
(hereby some spec's
The RozzBox One V2 has the following Features:
Oscillators & Signal Sources
Count: 4 OSCs plus noise, external input, and ring modulator
Octave Range: 4' to 32'
Glide: adjustable
FM: fully functional 4 operator FM engine with 7 algorithms
Waves: - Standard Waveforms: Saw, Pulse (PWM), Triangle, Wave
- 14 additional waveforms for the OSCs as factory presets
- 2 additional waveforms that can be “drawn“ with the User Interface, storable with each Patch
Sync: Hardsync possible
Other functions: Pitch Tracking of OSC1 can be disabled
Filters
Count: 2 Filters in serial connection
Tube Version only: 3 Filters in serial/parallel connections
Filter 1: - Digital high pass/low pass filter with resonance and 24dB/octave (4 filter poles)
Filter 2: - Analog lowpass ladder filter with resonance and 24dB/octave (4 filter poles)
Filter 3:
Tube Version only - Completely Tube-driven analog lowpass filter with resonance and 12B/octave (2 filter poles)
Filtertracking: individually adjustable
Filtermodes:
Tube Version only: - Digital filter, Transistor filter, serial
- Digital filter, Tube filter, serial
- Transistor filter, Tube filter, serial
- Transistor filter, Tube filter, parallel
The Tube Filter can be switched to be used on Voice 1 (local), or to be used on all Voices (global).
Misc: The two Filters selected can be modulated individually.
Low Frequency Oscillators
Count: 2
Frequency Range: Frequency ranging from very slow to very fast
Waveforms: a, Sawtooth, Triangle, Square, Sample&Hold (random generator)
b, Sawtooth, Triangle and
“Wave“ plays one of the 2 user waveforms available
“Wave Tracking Generator“ using one of the 2 user Waveforms to follow the envelopes.
Envelopes
Count: 2
Parameters: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
Trigger Modes: single, multi
Shapes available: linear, exponential
Rozzy Modulation Sources
Audio-In: Use that feature for example to modulate the Oscillators Frequency.
Envelope Follower: Uses the Envelope of an incoming signal to generate a Modulation-Signal. (The follower has its own, independent input)
Mixer: Adds the Audio-Signals alltogether. Fine for very weird modulations
Sequencers
Count: 4 independent Seqs per Voice
Internal Connections (each)
Inputs: - Clock in, routable by Trigger Matrix
- Reset in, routable by Trigger Matrix
- Start in, routable by Trigger Matrix
- Stop in, routable by Trigger Matrix
Internal Connections (each)
Outputs: - Continuous, routable by Modulation Matrix
- Gate out, routable by Modulation Matrix, Trigger Matrix
- Duration out, routable by Trigger Matrix
Dimension: up to 16 Steps, 1 Track
Running Modes: Forward, Backward, Bounce, Random, One Shot
Sync Modes: Step-Follow Seq 1 - 4
Clocking Options: fully selectable by Trigger Matrix, for example
- Trigger by MIDI “Note on“
- Trigger by LFO 1
- Trigger by MIDI Clock
