Hi guys, I'm trying to reenact Beethovens Kreutzer on the Alesis Andromeda. I have all my MIDI data setup but for some reason everytime the first note in the data is played it will change the patch to something I dont want.
When I try and record a beautiful violin it slams bass in my ear.
Why is it changing the patch and how do I stop it!? I have looked the MIDI data over and I don't see anything that would be causing the patch to change. Someone please help, I am at my wits end here!

when using cubase ( or so ) it might be that , in cubase, at the beginning of the trackline , a patchnumber is displayed or otherwise somewhere on the left of the screen in the collum. that way it sends a programchnage everytime you start the playback. took me sometime to find out too.
succes, so guess it's a sequenzer, not an andromeda thing.

I figured it out!
For some arbitrary reason there is a program change in the MIDI data. Well I just deleted that crap and success!
Thanks for your help
