Getting a great response so far from this one. We're hoping to have lots of performers. This space is great, a bar, good stage, tables, sounds system, couches. Please come out and support <OpenSource>

| Tonight! Brave the floodwaters and go to Philly and play! Your seat becomes a floatation device... |

Hmm... I found it mildly amusing/ironic that AQUA was closed on such a 'wet' night.
Note to self: Tiny Hondas don't float in 4 feet of water on the Schuylkill Expressway. |

SOOOO.... I guess Open Source is no longer with us?
So is there a place for Philly musicians to gather in 2008? _________________ The most important music equipment is what's behind the guitar and in front of the computer. |

Uh Oh.... ME? Promote something?
I have a long history of Not Organizing Stuff because when I try, everybody runs the other way.
I live out near Phoenixville and have the following resources: a Living Room with a few Powerstrips. I could host maybe 2 or 3 Musicians who want to jam. How's that sound!!!! _________________ The most important music equipment is what's behind the guitar and in front of the computer. |

Great!
All you really need is a PA (public address system), a small mixer and some DI boxes (and leads too)- but all of these usually fall under PA anyway
If there is a wi-fi link, you could also do a live web broadcast too! |

Nope. Don't have those.
I have broadband internet, that's it.
Plus I have: guitar, bass, 2 keybds, a few hand drums.
Only thing I could ever do is a little private living room jam.
What happened to Open Source?
How about 'Gate"? _________________ The most important music equipment is what's behind the guitar and in front of the computer. |
