VSTI Andy front end |

ello, new to the forums....not many around for Andy a6s actually
Anyhow, will be getting my Andy next week from Turnkey in the UK (£1330) not to bad!
Found this which might be of interest to some.
http://www.vyzor.com/index.html
These guys make gui frontends in standalone and vsti for popular hardware synths. They have nearly finished one for Dave Smiths Evolver synths and also for the Access Virus A/B/C...

They even add new functionallity not available on the hardware synth itself, pretty cool.
They are working on one for the A6 and are at around 50% completetion when I asked one of thier guys. Will be pretty cool to use the Andy as a vsti !

hope you'll enjoy her, it's a nice synth.
might take some time to learn her though. reading the manual (twice) and the tips and tricks i found very helpfull.
about the software described: would be great, however hope it's not another too good to be true story, keep us informed please.

Very cool! I really didn´t think it was possible to do that, I thought the Andromeda is too complicated for that sort of thing. I´ll buy it in an instant! |

I asked Vyzor the other day and they said that, realistically, the Andy GUI frontend will be released earliest in the summer of 2007. |

I've heard mixed reviews about this company in regards to their Evolver VST editor... I would even possibly consider it to be abandonware at this stage. |

the site seems to be down. has the project been cancelled? I think it's 4.5 years since the last post in this thread. |
