Graphic |

Complementary information about the Touch Screen interfaces:
The graphic console on both models (LCD, PANEL) is designed to be used with the Acxel-II SAS unit, a PC/MAC connection (USB2) is not necessary for editing as the graphic console integrate the editing software, of the same type of interface as the one installed into the PC/MAC unit ...
For the moment we do not plan to support the Graphic interface to be used with the Acxel II PCI unit, only on the Acxel II SAS. _________________ www.idarca-audio.com |

OSC protocol |

I there any chance that the Axcel II works with the OSC protocol?
That way it also works with the JazzMutant Lemur! |
Hi,
We will have an open approach about different Protocols, Languages and data encoding for electronic musical instruments - with MIDI system exclusive and possibly OSC. This for many reasons, on top of it - the Acxel II is our entry unit into the musical/audio world as our technology (RPP processing) has potential cabalolities for uses far beyond the sound synthesis.
Simply the RPP / Acxel II have the capabilities to act as sort of mainframe in audio accoustics, considering this we understand that it is in our advantage to allow it to have very flexible/efficient network structure not restricted to LAN and have layers that speak different languages (protocols). _________________ www.idarca-audio.com |

It is really a shame that we had no longer this console, bad circumstance made us lose the last unit - really sad, yes it was a beauty and distinctive compared with the nowadays plastic and metal domination _________________ www.idarca-audio.com |

Glad to see you are coming back.
I was so intrigued by the Technos back in the 80's. I never got a good additive synth. I got a Kawai K5 which is pretty horrible. I wanted a Synergy II+ with the Kaypro but could not afford it at the time so I got an Oberheim Xpander (that I still have an love) instead.
I am another who would like something like this on Mac.
Do you have a target price?
Best wishes |

Hi
If you look on the Acxel II description, you'll see that it goes far beyond the Additive Synthesis, while this mode if fully supported is is a starting point for the Acxelink mode.
About pricing, that depends on the model: PCI/PCIe card or the Stand Alone unit (that can be link to computer or the Grapher). It is from $1500 to $2500, plus options for the Touch Screen. If you want more details I invite you to contact us at info@idarca-audio.com.
