Small Bear Electronics Subject description: Anyone deal with them recently? |
|
|
I was negotiating a deal with Steve from Small Bear Electronics(I have to do this because the site does not work properly for me) and I've now been waiting almost a month for a reply. Does anyone know what could be wrong? A personal catastrophe? My emails ending up in the spam box? Anyways, I'm not trying to publicly defame Small Bear, I've had nothing but good experiences with them in the past, just trying to get to the bottom of this _________________ " I went through quite a few trannies til I found one I liked" - Wild Zebra |

It has happened in the past, that he has been so bogged down with orders that his responsetime slows down.
That, or you're going right in his spamfilter for some reason.
Did you snoop around on diystompboxes.com forum? Someone there migth know something...

Sounds strange to me ! I bought lots of stuff from Steve in the last two years. Last deal wasmore or less a month ago... maybe something happened a bit after that time? I hope all is going right for him... _________________ http://soundcloud.com/mister-vommi

I remember he was bogged down around Christmas time, but it would still only take a few days to respond. _________________ " I went through quite a few trannies til I found one I liked" - Wild Zebra |

I recently enquired about getting a bulk load of knobs, which I need really quickly, and I was worried they had not got my email, but a couple of days later (yesterday) they replied that they could send them to me them asap, really went out of their way to be helpful, and apologise for the (slight) delay.
In my past dealings with them they've been excellent I might add.

I order from Small Bear every month (sometimes more than once), always arrives here in Canada in about 2 weeks... Never had any problem besides some mis-ships which they fixed immediately. _________________ -

I just tried to place an order to Smallbear and I got this message:
We're sorry but we encountered an error while processing your request.
Promotion Code (quantity minimum/maximum not met)
I am not using any promotion code and I tried both leaving out some item and creating a new account, with no effect.
Does anyone encountered the same problem?
Anyone knows steve's mail?
Thanks _________________ http://soundcloud.com/mister-vommi

Well, everything sorted now. It appears smallbear electronics did nothing wrong, but somehow gmail is incapable of delivering my e-mails to them

I have the same problem, if I can even get all the proper items in my shopping cart in the first place. _________________ " I went through quite a few trannies til I found one I liked" - Wild Zebra |

Ok, it seems that i'm not the only one who encountered this payement problem. Did Steve answered to your mail?
I hope that this block ends! Smallbear is one of the few places in the world (the only one that I know) where I founded the 16mm alpha pots.
And shipments were always perfect! _________________ http://soundcloud.com/mister-vommi
