I am sure that it's easy for you "maestros" .....What is the equivalent of the MG (modulator generator) in the " Editor " 1.2 terminology?, there is a module?... |

Glad to see that the forum provides answers so quickly.
I would think that technically, a modulation generator would be module that is used as a source to modulate something. So, any Oscillator, LFO, Noise Source, or even external audio input could be a modulation generator, depending on how it is used. |

I think MG is a Korgism, like Contour is a Moogism.
The MG on a MS20 has variable slope/duty cycle (like the SHPA LFO) |

Yeeees g2ian, you have read me the thought, you've got mental powers?
In my life i only have got 3 synths, the first was a Korg N5-EX, I begin to create sounds, I touched all the parameters that appears in the LCD. I don't understand the technical factors (oscillators, ADSR...) but my only reference was the sound.
The second one synth is my favorite next to NMG2 of course, the Korg MS-10 that I bought in Barcelona 5 years ago (second hand), I learn something more about the sounds and I understood some of the "technical factors" of the N5.
Later I sold the N5 to buy Genelec Monitors and in this year the NMG2 Engine has went into my life next to my dear MS-10.
The MS-10 is my reference to understand the building of a synth, and I thought to build in the editor one MS-10 emulation like a practice ejercice.
Thaaaaanks mosc , thaaanks g2ian you're fantastic.
In case it is of interest, for all the electro-musicians, I put this link, you'll see the front panel of the MS with info:

[Editor's note: I put the image directly in your post to save people form having to click through, and to show you how to include images from other web sites using the IMG bbcode tag. It's a neat feature of the forums. --mosc] |

Seems like the MS-10 has become a classic synth. |

I know the IMG bbcode tag but I think that could be better for the e-music.com server the link only, I take note for the next time |

Well, there is almost no load on the server to reference a link like this. Uploading an image with the Attachment mechanism does put a load on the server and on the file server, but that's what their for. |
