Am I right to believe there's NO WAY to send midi data from a G2 sequencer object to the midi out port?

Or is there some secret trick?

Well, not if you're working with the G2 demo...

Shocked the birds were singing it in the morning, midi modules, midi modules, at the time ... well it's good you found out anyway. BTW, they can be used to send info around from one patch to another as well in a performance, very useful at times.

The Midi modules certainly open up the modular.

I have used my Machinedrum to sequence notes on a nord synth patch, whilst the nord sends control data back to the machinedrum, tweaking the machinedrum patches. Gets confusing but i like getting confused. Smile

Also wrote a really lively patch with the Nord controlling my waldorf pulse, several parameters at once, each running a different length sequence, so i ended up with an extremely complex pattern practically impossible or at least very difficult done any other way. Smile You can even use the morphs to modify the way the control data leaves the nord, several params at once, and therefore give you unique control over synths that dont have that kind of control.
