This is not a completely kosher bug report, because I don't have a repeatable case or test patch, but I'm convinced that it's real.

Occassionally, a patch or performance I'm working on will lose one or more front-panel control assignments, under circumstances I can't quite figure out. I'll have a button assigned to some function, and later I'll come back to the system (the next day, maybe) and the assignment will be gone.

The latest occurence was most blatant. I was playing at a friend's house, had the editor hooked up to the laptop, on a performance that I had had for a while. Button A-1 was one of several assigned. During the session I closed the laptop (went into hibernation), and just now I powered up the laptop (editor still in memory, running) and - the assignment of button A-1 was deleted.

I don't think this condition exists in the synth (I shut the laptop down before the session was over, and continued playing that performance for a while with no problems).

Details: G2, v 1.30, Windows XP SP1, Dell Latitude D600, 1.8 GHz.

Does anyone else see this, or am I just being exceptionally clumsy?

I get this all the time, particularly when deleting modules (I'm talking about modules whose parameters are NOT mapped to the front panel knobs).

I haven't find a solution or workaround, so I just make notes on paper of the assignments and reassign as needed while working on a patch. It's quite annoying.
