Hurray! I finally got some time to sit down and make some patches on my Blofeld. I was on vacation all last week and decided to take it along for the trip.

One thing I found annoying at first but then useful later was that the four knobs on the right always edit whatever is selected by the pushbuttons.

So, even if you press "Filter 1", and then subsequently keep scrolling along with the Select knob until you are editing Filter 2, the four knobs will keep editing the Filter 1 settings.

At first, I thought this was annoying, but then I realized it gives you a little more editing power --- you can be editing (for example) Filter 2's settings using the 2 knobs under the display, and simultaneously be tweaking Filter 1's setting using the 4 knobs on the right. Saves you from flipping back and forth between menus!

I'd post my patch creations, but they're hardly worth mentioning yet. I'm still getting the hang of it. But I have to say, the Filter FM capabilities make for some awesome sounds, and have encouraged me to try the Filter FM capabilities on my A6 when I get a chance, now that I know what that can do....

I have to say, the Blofeld is fairly intuitive for creating patches, and they did a pretty good job on the user interface. I didn't have to grab for the manual much, except for editing the FX section.

The 16 mod routes are more than enough (so far!).

Anyway... Loads of fun tweaking!
