I am teh noob.

I'm wondering whether any/all of the ken's cgs pcb's can be mounted in frac format? I mean, can I just lay them on their side going down the depth of the frac-rack and wire them that way?

there are some that are marked 'eur' or 'euro' - are these the only ones that I should hope for? If so, then I guess metalbox has their own pcbs?

i made a utility lfo in frac format. i didn't mount the pcb though. i just made the wires a little longer and sat the pcb inside my wooden case. it could have been mounted on the panel. i'm sure most of ken's boards can be.

i've built a couple dozen CGS in frac format. a number of the boards are long and skinny, and they get mounted at right angles to the front panel... none have extended further back than the depth of a standard frac rack.

the euro- modules are meant to be easier to wire, w/ pcb-mounted pots and jacks... they fit perfectly behind frac panels as well as euro. very greatful that ken has gone to the trouble of redesigning these, really makes for an easy build.
