Groan... There are lots of patches, but you can't tell the new ones from the old ones. Means I've gotta wade through all these again.

Clavia, then next time you release patches, please put the new ones in a separate bank or something. Thanks in advance...

Well it's very pleasant and enjoyable to find news patches on Clavia official Website, because this is symptom that NordModular project is growing and quickly too.

I'm very happy of course,but... nevertheless ,will you be more happy if our patches, those we've posted here, the result of our works, be published on the Web at Clavia and released like these new ones in a future official update? It will be grateful and stimulating to everybody,,, Who knows.... Rolling Eyes

I must say the DX7 patches open up new vistas for the G2. There are some beautiful sounds there - much better than the DX7 originals because to the additional effects. For example, the G2 reverb is very good on these FM sounds. I think that the G2 would work as the only keyboard for a jazz or pop keyboard performer. It lacks that classic grand piano, but not much else. There are many many really nice epiano sounds and clavs.

The DX patches are easy to adjust because the knob assignments are the same for every patch. You get to know how tweak the chorus, delay, and reverb so that it's almost intuitive.

I really think the G2(X) and the Electro(2 73) are gonna compliment eachother in a lot of ways in a set-up Very Happy
