PART TIME RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS
School of Fine-Art at the Canterbury campus, Kent
Three part-time research student bursaries have become available in the form
of fee waivers (up top £1,950) for students studying for research degrees
(MPhil/PhD: 3/5 years part-time). These Studentships will be based in the
School of Fine -Art at the Canterbury campus.
Applications are welcomed from students wishing to pursue research within
the areas of curatorial strategies; site-specific / environmental art;
public art; or interdisciplinary work on issues of place and space.
You will be able to negotiate access to workshops, darkrooms and technical
support and to the recently established Digital Arts Research Centre.
Support will be given by the Studentship supervisor to further develop
research profiles and in turn, you will carry out research activity to
further enrich the academic teaching and research profile of the School.
Research may be undertaken through written thesis or a combination of art
practice and theory.
There may be some paid sessional teaching assignments available to suitable
individuals.
