Hi Everyone!

We've got another Thomas Henry book up and running! As with the other books, these can be ordered as PDF downloads, or printed versions with color covers and coil bindings (so they lay flat on your workbench).

Check them out at:
http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=1059899

Thanks muchos to our proofreaders, Loss1234 and DannoG, and a big thanks of course to Thomas Henry!

Thanks guys, for your support. Smile

And I think bugs have claspers, or grabby things that could sort of be the equivalent of thumbs. I did a Google for "bug thumbs" and it kept asking me "are you sure you don't mean 'big thumbs'?" so basically... I got nothing. Except now I'm wondering just how much of a problem big thumbs pose to modern society ("No officer, I wasn't hitchhiking. I was just walking along the road and I happen to have Big Thumbs.")

Hey everyone,

I just ran across a bunch on NE570 chips that I can sell for about $3.65 each + shipping. Any interest?

Curious - I've barely any idea what you can do with the chip. ??

Out of curiosity, I just checked my Canadian located supplier - Digikey (dot ca). Non stocked - minimum order = 188 at $3.79 each. Ouch.

What IS, a Compander?? (Could Google that, but since I'm here anyways. Wink )

Compander is short for Compresser/Expander.
+1 on the NE570's.

Yes, I'd be interested in a couple of NE570. Especially since JH's Dim D will need them as well.

Hi again everyone,

I picked up a bunch of the NE570 chips, so if you want a few PayPal me at magsmoke@gmail.com

They're $3.65 each, and we'll say $3.50 shipping for North America, $5.50 shipping to EU / UK / Aus for up to 10 pieces.

So no more excuses for not making your own compander, AGC, etc. Smile

Hi all,
For years I have forgotten to buy some NE570, and now I extracted it with the IR3109s from a Boss pedal.
Has someone already designed or started to design some PCB Artwork inspired from this publication?

does anyone have the article on harddisk? Lulu.com deleted it like the 570 is becoming obsolete. Why do all the cool things become obsolete?

greetings

It is still there -- Lulu must have just changed the way they structure their website. Try: http://www.lulu.com/shop/thomas-henry/making-music-with-the-ne570-compander/ebook/product-17459222.html
