Hi,

I've posted my music here several months ago and got good comments on most of it, but things have kind of died out for some time now. I'd like to post the songs to myspace or facebook or some music site (vibe?), but I don't know which is best or for what reasons one would be better than another. Please advise, thanks.

Virb, you're thinking of. Pretty decent site. All that "friend" based crap, though, a big popularity contest...oh well. I'd reccommend Imeem.com for serious post-ification, synth-musician.com throws songs on at random on a front-page playlist, and kvraudio.com puts all new songs posted in the bottom right hand corner, so your songs will get heard at either of those. All of the above.

Musicwebtown.com playlists will get a little play (10 gb of mp3 space too) and also I'd reccomend just making a site at freewebtown.com...i didn't promote my site at all and I got lots of random people dropping in leaving kind words about my tunes.

Myspace or virb, uh, I don't think facebook lets you post tunes. Virb lets you post like, 25 or 28 songs I think compared to myspace's retarded 6 allowed songs. Let us remember that good tunes resonate throughout the world, or collect dust because we never release them and they sit on our computers/ tapes/ recorders and collect dust, and give thanks to the good music itself.

Virb sounds good for starters. I applied for iTunes content provider status but they said they would only get back to me if I looked promising. I presume I retain copyright when posting to these sites?
