I know that some may consider Reason to be a "toy" when compared to deep softsynth architectures like Reaktor, etc... but on the other hand a lot of folks still use the software. I have a small bundle of presets I have created for several of the included synths that I would like to share.

I found that the "factory" settings were not expressive of what I would like to hear, so I created a few that have more flavor (to my ears).

These are being offered as "hello-ware" meaning that if you like any and use them in a track, please e-mail or message me to say Hello! Even better, let me hear your music made with my noizes. Smile

I encourage anyone who wants to share to post their own Reason presets here. This can become a nifty data swap...

(my file is now two posts below this one, in .zip format)

I knew that was going to be a problem... I was just lazy I guess; winZip wasn't as easy for me to use as winRAR when I was packing up that archive. (Actually, I just realized that winZip wasn't even installed properly until now)

Is there an easy way to remove the attachment from my first post?

here's a .zip version of the archive... or you can get winRAR for free to open the first file. WinRAR is slightly more efficient than ZIP and better at things like spanning an archive across multiple files. I like it. Smile

on the presets: Most are entirely novel; a few are built on modified factory presets and are generally indicated so by the filename.

Rar is a common archiving format. I'm pretty sure Stuffit will work with RAR., Try it, Carlo.

Hm, I mainly use doctor rex once in a while but with kontakt having the ability to load rex now I rather go for kontakt lately and load the vst instead of running processor hungry rewire, well reason remains a good sounddesign tool!

I don't see reason as toy at all it can be very usefull, sounddesign as mentioned, I could give some rex or if I ever get down to the synths of reason wich I rather dislike (soundwise) maybe some patches.

Don't know if rex would be to heavy well some loops can't hurt! I can put them on my webspace and you just have to be quickly as I often change the contents of my server and it only has 50MB!

If anyone is interested let me know and I will let you know as soon as I got some ready and up.
