Anyone know of an app that could convert raw binary data into a sound file for Mac? I am playing with some apps that turn digital images into sound files but it's not screwed up enough sounding to me.

Nope, but that said the aif audio format used by Apple is quite simple and it is really not that hard to make such an application. I am pretty sure there might be some MAX based thingie doing that. You could try earch in the audio section at http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/
