New here - hi Very Happy

Some years ago (98/99), I built a midi controller for a college project, based around Dylan Menzies' Manmidi chip and a keyboard scanning module that I got from Maplin.
I want to re-use the keyboard module and needless to say, Maplin don't make it any more, and I can't find the docs; does it ring a bell with anyone here? I did 'mail Maplin, but no reply so far...

I want to use it with an old video FX controller that I found at work which has these nice membrane switches, so I need to know how to change it to non-velocity sensing mode.

I don't have the details with me here, but I can supply the kit/chip no. when I get home, if that will help jog any memories.
Thanks in advance for any help offered...
cheers
Roger

You might want to check this out and welcome to the forum BTW ! Wink

This is a new Keyboard controller/scanner that will supply both analog CV and MIDI NOTE ON/OFF messages all on the same assembly.

There is lots of material there but worth the read if your truely interested in building your own keyboard.
