Hello,

I was just soldering up the VC divider and was wondering about the 100n caps. Should the BOM read 10 of, which would include the two unmarked boxes on the PCB near the power supply? or should these boxes be left empty, I see in the piccy on Ken's site that they have caps lurking thereabouts...

any help would be greatly appreciated...

Some of the CGS boards have a power bus arrangement, where the power rails are connected in series, from board to board, it is easy to recognise as there is generally a 6V rail there too. I think this is how it used to be done on old Serge synths.
The cap spaces you are referring to would be filled if you are using this power bus.

You can put caps there if you want to, it is totally optional.
