Attached is the patch as distributed by Clavia.

As distributed, this patch makes no sense to me, because the Bode Shift module outputs go unused and the X-fade module uses only one of its inputs.

So as it stands, it seems to me that the Bode Shift module could be removed entirely without affecting the patch, and the X-fade module is essentially a volume control.

But if we connect the Up output of the Bode Shift module to input 2 of the X-fade, that seems to add some interesting sonic possibilities.

I am wondering whether someone more familiar than I with this patch knows whether that was what was intended in the first place.

Odd... as far as I know, I posted it only once.

I can't look at the patch but it may be one produced before the frequency shift module was changed. It had a built in xfade in early OS versions.

Hmm, weird, don't know what happened, but your attachment doesn't work either ... could you try to upload it again please?

I have refreshed the original post and checked that it works now.

Thanks!

it is an older patch ...

Code:

Version=Nord Modular G2 File Format 1
Type=Patch
Version=22
Info=BUILD 192

in 2004 I saved patches, first as

Code:

Version=Nord Modular G2 File Format 1
Type=Patch
Version=19
Info=BUILD 146

but later as :

Code:

Version=Nord Modular G2 File Format 1
Type=Patch
Version=22
Info=BUILD 202

So the patch was made with a version that was current somewhere in 2004 I'd guess, giving room for Ian's hypothesis.
