I saw this message from synapse@sonic.net on the Nord Modular users list. I thought I'd repost it here. Normally, the Reviews forum isn't for "please listen to my music" messages, but in this case I'm recommending it. It's not my music, then it must be a review. These are nice pieces in a relaxed understated style which I like. Check the tracks out here.

Some people said the streaming didn't work, but I was able to hear these perfectly.

Keep up the good work, Sam. Some people would call this "space music". Most of that has a lot of delays, echo and reverb. I like your stuff partially because it's clean. Let us know when you have more...

I posted three MP3's of some experimental tracks I did this year two of which are from patches I recently sent to the list. (Broken Melody (Spaceways) and Tone Ages.) They can be found at www.soundclick.com/interim The third one (Bells & Ambience) is an ambient piece made entirely with the Nord Modular and Absynth in Cubase SX. I would appreciate if people gave the songs a listen and maybe even some reviews. I plan to send more accessable rhythm oriented stuffs at some point soon possibly (yes I do like noodles/grooves as well as experimental and sci fi and what not.) And some more ambient stuff, but in the meantime it's experimental stuff and a taste of ambient. Keep those patches coming everyone.

Excited about the G2,

Sam
