Most of the schematics can be found here within the Lunetta forum.
Not really much to see - most of them are one chip, a few passive components and I/O's to the front panel....

I got the case holding a bunch of cheap tools for under $20.
The Pamona stacking plugs I got from E-bay. (http://stores.ebay.com/CemPhoto-WorkShop-LLC)
The EF Johnson non-stacking plugs were from Mouser. (Part #530-108-0310-1). The EF Johnson colored jacks were from Mouser (Like Part #530-108-0903-1) _________________ www.sdiy.org/rfeng

Here's my first lunetta module nothing fancy it's just 6 40106 oscillators. 2 sub audio LFOs, 2 that go from fast LFO speeds to low audio and 2 audio ones.
Just waiting for my banana jacks to arrive to finish it off. |

Work in progress inspired by RF's Lunetta.
The power connection's just temporary until I figure out something more permanent. |

Very nice, slacker.. inspiring.
After I have RFs machine for awhile, I may build a couple add'l modules (once I decide if I need them/what I would want). Right now I'm just spazzing around with the myriad options as is and will likely be for SOME time.
I like that you used reg. stainless steel for the faceplates too. Very cool. |

That's puuuurdy!
Congrats slacker - I can't wait to see it all filled up and making good sounds.

It's actually aluminium, the photo makes it look much shinier than it is. It's stuff the you use to make splashbacks for your kitchen work tops. It's cheap and it's just about stiff enough.
scriptstyle the pots are from Rapid Electronics in the UK. They're a lot more expensive than the 16mm Alphas that I normally use, but they made wiring it up a lot simpler. |

yeah stainless steel might be a tad hard to drill holes into at home..
(or would it be? fuck if I have a clue about fuck)..

Thanks!
Sounds coming soon. I posted a sample of two vcos being CV'd by the sub-oscillator/sequencer in this thread:
http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-27239-25.html
it's the ultra_blee_machine.mp3 file.
FYI I built it specifically for a show that I had recently. I wanted stereo sound that I could process through a modular synth as well as control it. That's why there are two Envelope Followers with gate outputs. It worked out pretty well.
As for audio/video sample I will be posting a video by this weekend of it in action with the sound recorded directly to the computer.
The case was built rather quickly with MDF which was the only spare wood I had. I'd like to rebuild the case for it, but I don't have time as I'm so caught up in other projects.
I decided to sell it too. Being that the case is a bit of an eyesore I'm selling it pretty cheaply on my etsy store. If anyone is interested you can check it out here http://synthmonger.etsy.com |

I forgot to mention that I did make the layout but my friend cut the panels and the layout which is why they look half-assed. If you want something done right, do it yourself! |

wow thats awesome!!! now i feel like my jam packed design needs some of the cool stuff you have. i have a acouple questions?
1. what is the dual monostable design?
2.the manual logic, is it constant 1 or 0?
3.the logic constants are these similar to the manual logic but the red ones output a 1 and the green output a 0?
4.what ic are you using for the magnitude comparator.
5. and are you using banana's? im guessing no cause you have the multiples.
well it looks great cant wait to see more i second the build report!! |

Thanks for the compliments guys.
To answer your questions scriptstyle:
The dual monostable is just that: two monostable mulitvibrators or one shots. They work just like gate/trigger delays or gate extenders in a modular synth.
The manual logic module is just a set of 3 position toggle switches that can set logical levels. Up = 1, Centre = 0 and Down = 1 but is momentary.
The logic constants work exactly as you guessed, red = 1, green = 0.
I haven't built the magnitude comparator yet but I was planning on using the 4063.
I am using banana jacks but I dislike the stacking function as they stick out too far when stacked and I find the stackable plugs to be too bulky for use where the jacks densely packed.
Cheers,

beautiful thang... now matrixsynth, so i'll bet someone snaps it up. what circuit did you use for the envelope follower?
