hi dave,

the x-panner PCB is 3.9 x 2.3 inches,
the PS3100 PCB is 3.6 x 3.1 inches.

hope that helps.

i thought it would be good to post the schematics and the BOM for the PS3100 at least. the documentation (wiring and building options) is not finished, yet. next week i will post the same for the X-Panner (i am off for a very long weekend until wednesday Very Happy ).

so here is part one (PS3100 v3):
PS3100res_v3.pdf
hope that helps.

here is the BOM and the schematic of the panner. again, this is not the building documentation, just a little help for those, who want to check their parts stock.

Hello,
I am new here
Am I too late for those PCBs ?
I would buy one of each, the resonators and the panner
I'm still working at the basic modules of my first modular, but the resonators are high on my list
I just registered today
you will hear from me soon
thank you
Jaba

Cool
i won't take any money before the boards are in my hands. there is trouble that could be avoided...
i will PM all who placed advance orders as soon as the boards are in. the PM will contain all information concerning your advance order and all necessary information for payment.

i am so curious to see your builts! i got some pictures of the previous PCB runs - it is just a fraction of all sold boards...

I'll admit, I'm one of the offenders. Once I heard about the *possibility* of the updated resonator & xpanner I held off on building the rev1 boards. I'll decide what to do with those once I get these built Wink

am not gonna built this fonik,am gonna give a try to use your boards to do the inverse 4in to 1out ,replacing manual pot by joystick,to obtain vector function like on the prophet vs,its gonna be fun with 4 serge wavemultipliers @ each input..,just need the choice for 8 vco's to complete my VC Taj Mahal Drone Generator

Quote:
...if I built a panner resonator with the 2 boards and I ever wanted to use this in mono mode, I would have to pan fully to one side and use that side's output, right? That would provide a more or less equal mix of all 3 input signals to that output?

no. Very Happy

if you pan the LEFT input to the RIGHT, the RIGHT input would be routed to the LEFT output accordingly. that is the "X" in the X-pan/fader. actually this is the fun of this module. LEFT and RIGHT channel move from LEFT to RIGHT and RIGHT to LEFT, working in opposit direction.
if you put the pan to center it would be a mono mix at both outputs, but with a prominent center input signal (maybe we should increase the value of R46/R50 to come around this - 120k maybe?).

however, the PS3100 PCB provides a mixed mono output of the three resonators.

Thanks Fonik. I realized the mono out was coming from the resonator board right after I posted. Also sorry for the brain freeze regarding the fact this is a cross-pan circuit Embarassed
