First post on these forums, so thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Have owned a Nord Stage 88 Rev B for a couple of years and, I have to say, it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I love playing it and gig within it regularly and it hasn't ever put a foot wrong.

I've just upgraded the OS to v4.04 and have been downloading some of the new samples from the Nord Library.

The problem is, my Rev B only has the 128Mb of flash memory. And so, in using one of XL piano sample sets, I don't have much space left for other sounds.

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade / replace the flash memory to 256MB (as in the EX), or more?? It would be sooo handy!

Thanks again.

Thanks seraph. It's a pain, ain't it?

I've had the same line up but without the Harps and with the close Yamaha XL set instead. Strange. I'd usually default to a steinway sample set, but the C7 sounds so much better for live playing.

Oh well. Let me know if you hear of anyone doing it.

(Hopefully) attached is an excel spreadsheet that easily allows you to see if the piano samples you'd like to use will fit. Just type the file sizes into one of the "Add 'em up" columns and if the total is below 123.3 you are good.

Nord Stage Piano File Sizes.xls
