Where do you guys get 19 inch racks with panels for your JH stuff?
Maybe we can organize a groupbuy since there is so much coming out.

FracRack format I buy from John Blacet, www.blacet.com

Euro Rack, I buy a Schroff rack from Newark www.newark.com

Newark p/n 74M6581 Schroff p/n 24563-132

Only $78.05 US dollars.

Panels from Schafer or Schroff has paneled versions, too.

Sorry, don't know a European vendor.

David

Anyone know a good source in the UK? They are very expensive at Farnell and RS. ABS rack cases can be bought quite cheaply from Farnell (GBP 10 for 1U and GBP 12 For 2 U) but they are not not really suitable for audio projects as they offer no screening.

About rackmount enclosures:

There has been this British company who made expensive, but wonderful enclosures that can be opened with just two screws from the top. For a while, I've built everything into these. Then they went bankrupt ...

And a few days ago I noticed the same enclosures are available again, from Vero! Available not from RS-Components like the other ones, but from Farnell:

1277474
1277469
1277481
1277484

Yes, that stuff is insanely expensive, but I never want another one since I discovered these.

JH.
