11 hits in the last 6 hours??? Are you folks nuts?? Where is everyone?!?

Anyway, this is what I've worked out so far, Jasuto is a noodle-tastic application. The interface is quite similar to the Nord Modular, in that it is dead easy to use- no silly stuff as in Max or PD, its GUI is more along the lines of Plogue or Audiomulch. Automation is done simply by moving modules by touch, and recording their motions. You can add sequencers and keyboards, or just have modules firing off each other or interacting. Anyway, I'm in heaven, and 60p ($1) for a modular??? Shocked

I've found a few bugs already, like battery drain when the phone is switched off, and the iPhone also turns itself off too, if I don't interact with the software- that needs fixing, There are also only 8 memories (or at least that's what I figure?)

Jasuto is also a VST plugin (Gary Rea,- this one's for you mate! Smile ) and works with both Windows and Mac. It also seems to be free (for the moment anyway?! Very Happy )

Jasuto and nLog. Do I need anything else? Shocked

1 hit from me too.

And I too don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch. Apparently Apple just ordered some parts for an upcoming 32G version of either unit.

Tut tut! Just listen to you trolls!! Evil or Very Mad if you actually read my post, or visit the website, you will find that there is a free VST too Rolling Eyes

Carlo, I'm most surprised by you, because you on one hand outright dismiss the iPhone as a brilliant platform for music making, but then on the other, endorse a product that looks more like a cybernetic codpiece with a qwerty keypad as a front end!!! Shocked Laughing

Hey cool Andy! I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts.

I've spoken the developer, who is very responsive and he assures me that the browser will be cleaned and improved. I'm really looking forward to the next stages in development- it's very exciting Smile

Yep, I don't go there often, about once a month for a couple of days.

I am just going to have to get a new lead or wait a couple of weeks till I go up there next.

Hmm ... I was recently brought into contact with the enemy a customer ... maybe that's it Wink But then again ... wasn't over-politeness a problem in the UK?

BTW, when I have an iphone I'd also need a mac laptop thingie of course ... there seems to be nothing with a screen resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels or something like that?

I know there is this 17" 1920 pixel thingie but erm ... its quite a bag full of dollars they want for that one, and 1440 pixels (on the 15 " one) is a bit limited ...

Okay- I hope this uploads...(fingers crossed....HOORAY!) Very Happy

This is a track I wrote on Bhajis Loops, and features my 6 year old daughter Ursula (then 2.5 years old), talking about rockets and outer space! (It's a bit of a plodder- especially when compared to the other cooler offerings from the Bhajis Loops pool of talent- but hey it's music! Smile You need Chocopoolp's "SyncroPoolp" player to listen to it Very Happy

Later (in another 6 years time..... Laughing ), I'll record some sonic madness from Jasuto as well

Tom

Embarassed

You know me- can't miss a treat! Very Happy
Anyway this ain't old news, because Chris is yet to allow Jasuto users to share patches! And I don't know where H is- this is quite serious, cos Howie would be all over this thing if he were. Or then perhaps he already is? Maybe H too has got himself a desert island and is pulsing away at Jasuto as we speak Question Very Happy

The wifey, yet again has got me on DIY chores- so no Jasuto for me today Sad

This message is coming to you while I sit on the throne!!! The ONLY place I can get solatude!!! LOL!

Stupid chores!! That is also my fate when i return home but I will be making time for some iphone noodling.

So far I've only had a snatched lunch time session (less than 1/2hour) on it so far and already I wish I had some means of recording the sounds it makes. Using the mic input, a few modules and the ambient sounds around me (in my food hall at work) got some killer ambient noise stuff (not unlike RjDj) but with no way to record it, alas it shall be forever lost.

Might be too much to ask but he hope he can find a way.

Sharing patches would also, of course, be really handy.
