i just made a very short sample of the switch in audio range. it is set up as follows: the triangel and sine outputs of my TH8038 VCO are routed to I/O 1 & 2 of the switch that is set to 2 step mode.
1st i switch manually, then i switch with a 2nd VCO/LFO, which is controlled by another LFO then (falling sweeps). after that i clock the switch by the TH8038 VCOs square output, then divided by 2, then by 4 (using my simple clock divider).

Drool!

Is the 'zipper noise' avoidable, or is that the point of the module?

This module is mainly used to switch between voltage sources, not audio.

U can use it for audio in switched sequence but then those 'tiks' u get on top of it are normal.

thanks Matt for the demo, and bringing this simple but wonderfull usable module

there are a lot of DIY-boards out there without any standard headers... so "something is better that nothing"?!

when ever possible i don't build boards without PSU Headers.

btw.:
the dotcom connector can use the pads from one row of the doepfer Header,
you just need to place a sixt pad, and you must change the Ground plane on that row
---> dotcom has the Ground only on one pin, and +5V on a pin that goes to Ground if not changed a little bit.

dotcom pinout:
V+
NC ....( Grnd on doepfer)
+5V...( Grnd on doepfer )
Grnd..( Grnd on doepfer )
V-
NC ( ok, not really necessary )

okay then... now almost everyone should be fine, i think. i added the MTA-156 connector and modified one row of the euro-style ribbon connector to comply with the dotcom standard. the footprints for the beads now have a .039 drill.

BTW, all who indicated interest in this thread so far are on the list. i don't think it is necessary to PM all of you before the boards are in...
however, don't hesitate to contact me in via forum, PM, e-mail or whatever.

I think I may have read this wrong... I paid for one + shipping already, using the paypal address I already have for you, is that ok?
