i found a toy mic ..

But i cant get it to work.. there is no place for batteries and it needs power to work.. i think it might have been for some singalong toy karaoke play set or something.. i need help to find out what ammount of power i need to use to get this piece working..

The wire ends up in what looks to be a completly normal mini jack stick .. But i see a third wire for power in the circuit board so im guessing that its not completly normal ..

sigh .. if i only knew

The short answer is 3-9V should be fine.
For the long answer, you might want to read up on this link -
