Hey Beermaster! What's that on the left, below the Serge panels? Maybe an Arp Avatar in a custom case? An Odyssey with patch-point mods? _________________ Dave Peck

Daisycutter - Love the ergonomics of you system looks really gorgeous - Really asks to be fiddled with !
Thanks! The idea behind the design was to build it as "an instrument" as oppsed to some rack gear. It is really nice to sit down at it and go to work. I kept the angles pretty open as well to try and avoid getting too crowded when patching. It's working well so far. This one is my prototype. There is no back and most of the bottom is open. The final version will have a super slick finish. I have a friend who runs an autobody shop and he is going to do the "bodywork" and paint for me. I'm trying to decide on a color.....

Ah, Well spotted Dave ! - Its actually an Odyssey Mk3 but keyboard removed and Midi added ( with extra lfo - top left of the panel) - not really modular - sadly not working too well at the mo.

Oh well, here is the current state of my modular:
Isn't there a better place for those audio monitor
Not at the moment. I need to get some mounting brackets first. They were on the upper shelf but once I got the 4th modular cabinet there was no room for them anywhere else. Yeup, they don't sound all that good up there. But don't worry seraph, you wont have to suffer for long . . . .
When tumbling over but indeed it looks like adding some patch cords would be serious fun there! _________________ Jan

Thanks guys. Yeah, I had intended to add some safety chains to hold them to the wall in case of an earthquake but . . I haven't gotten around to it yet. If it did fall, there is a drum set in close proximity to add to the 'concert'! It is more solid than it looks in that picture though.
Here's one of my favorite peices I've done so far. There are additional experiments and module demos on my YouTube channel.
My modest 44-space dotcom. The fx+mobius rack is actually part of the modular set (via the Behringer patchbay).
I'm planning to buy another 44-space cabinet this year and start filling it, but I need to get a bigger house first. _________________ My music: http://cdbaby.com/all/fac

Just re organised my studio
Over the last weekend and a few evenings this week I have completely stripped my little studio to improve the ergonomics (give it a good vacuum) and generally tidy up the cabling.
The pics below show it's new format. The only outstanding piece of work is the installation of the patch bays for audio, cv/gate and midi. Which is not going to be a trivial task.
The main modular which is mostly Doepfer plus Analogue Systems, Analogue Solutions, Voxglitch, Bananalogue, Plan B, Livewire, Tiptop, Flight of Harmony, Oakley, Elby, Blacet (spot the Klangwerk) and some DIY.
There are three SKB racks. The bottom one has the MOTU, Midisport, old Fostex mixer, Kenton and will house the patch bay. The middle one has the SMS modular and a Doepfer MAQ 16/3 and should also house a Bass Station rack which needs a new replacement cutoff pot which is happening at the weekend. The top rack has the Pulse and 1st series MAQ 16/3 (no CV/gate).
I built the desk originally to house the keyboards and the main modular but as the modular grew I found I couldn't reach the top, hence the move around. To keep the kit list going we have a 24" iMac, M-Audio BX8's, Mackie baby Hui, Novation keyboard controller, Yamaha AN1-X and the only vintage piece of kit I still own, the trusty Korg 700S which has been modified for external CV/Gate/VCF in.

I've just worked my way through all the great images on this thread. There are some simply amazing systems out there ... Anyway, here is quite a recent photo of my setup. (only the MS-20's are out of shot),
