I like his sequential divider switch a lot, even though I'm not into 5U modulars at all and it would have to be able to do at least a 1:16 divide for my sequencer. _________________ http://www.casia.org/modular/ |

Is this where we all start chiming in with the me toos? |

I'm with ach_gott and the Me Toos, Me Toos. If a third run becomes an option, count me in. |

If there are updates as mentioned I'd be up for another board or 2. |

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I don't know enough about circuits to know if this would be feasible or not with this kind of mixer, but would it be easy enough to add voltage control of the different levels if you do an updated run of these boards? |

would be possible, but with a high part count, this resulting in a very large board. you would actually need VCAs... _________________

I had a feeling that might be the case, since the only CV Mixer modules I've seen had VCA chips. Oh well.
Thanks!

Just in case you decide on a 3rd run of these brilliant boards I would be interested in 2 of them, possibly more depending on the feature set you decide upon. I hope you'll decide to do another run, I would love to work with this design! |

i hear you all!
doing a PCB is time consuming. all the communication and packaging and tracking and whatever... it takes the time away from building things. and that's what i want to do too. and there are projects waiting to get finished and new ideas...
however, i could order some boards from manufacturer together with the SeqSwitch.
that would be on Monday, 4th of May!
so all who are interested in some attenuverting mixer PCBs (without new features, but hey, mute switches are just a question of the wiring - i could amend the documentation accordingly) contact me via this thread, PM or email until 3 MAY 09 _________________

thanks.
BTW i will modify the onboard votalge source with a Z-diode (i.e. 1N715A for 5V) to provide more stability. _________________

Just to make sure, the PCB isn't changing at all, right? So if I still have an extra board lying around from the previous run I could build it with the updated documentation to include these updates (mute button, more stable voltage)?
Thanks! |

the board is not changing. i just replace R30 by a Z-diode. oh, and i incorporated the missing 100k resistor to GND for the AC mode - but i didn't change anything to the actual boards layout or part numbers.
BTW how many should i order for you, #talk? _________________

I still have an extra PCB from the last run, so since there are no new PCB features I'll sit this run out. Sorry!

Are we looking at the same prices as the previous PCB run?

alRIGHT! - way cool of you, man.
I'll post it here only then:
I'll take 4 attenuverter boards and two sequential switch boards, plz
Andreas. |
