How is playing in the beginning of HJ Prejam1 (aired on May 7 GMT-8, 8:15PM) ? I gotta record this and get it into my ipod.

That is a great piece and the levels are really good for once!!!!!!
A lot of the previous streams I've heard were so low.

Tony, do you mean the live streams or the canned ones?

I think they were live at one time and were recorded. I've downloaded a bunch of files a few weeks ago. The first ones I heard were the washing machine files. Some of those have very low audio.

Yes that was pretty experimental ... and the levels go everywhere ... I did compress some of 'm a bit and leveled some up as well, but apparently not all ... I'm a bit reluctant in editing mp3s as it invloves an extra encoder step, so I'd have to do it right directly after recordin gwhen all the bits are stil present ... sometimes I forget or just don't have the time.

looking at the rota

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

the first part is probably phases 1 and 2, so
phase 1 is John Sherwood, Dave Gurr and Xan Alexander
phase 2 Xan again, Brendan Pollard and Stephan Whitlan (who stepped in for Norman at the last minute)
