am about to get Kyma Pacarana.

I already own Reaktor and Max/msp which are really good which are real good.

I dont know about Nord G2 I download the demo and I am not excited and also it is discontinued.
Reaktor is powerful it has the greatest library I like it and I use it for some things.

Max/msp is extremely powerful but very complicated to make something musical. I should say it will be very powerful with Ableton Live together although Ableton Live gets on my nerves it is a little limited compare to Logic that is another issue but max/msp it is a merit for sure and maybe the most powerful platform for computer music ever, however, it takes for ever to make something substantial .

Kyma is very powerful and the sound quality surpasses all of them, I also think that Kyma is very easy or easier and it has great templates and library than max.
Reaktor is easy but limited compare max/msp but it has the library on line and templates unlike max/msp that it does not have all these but is so flexible that you loose your self and become a programer instead of being a musician or composer.

I am not sure about Nord G2 demo but the quality of the sound is a little cheap.

That is my opinion so far, what is your opinion?

Should I get a Kyma?

It doesn't need to. Reaktor cannot handle feedback, so I stay far away from it..

Kyma is the way to go. The price is steep, but it's the best there is....

If you want to do subtractive synthesis, then use the G2..

I have virus TI and so many real analog synths if I want to make subtractive
synthesis.

I dont know how far G2 can go but I think based on what you said Kyma is the best way to go.

I want to say that Reaktor is so powerful I dont understand about feedback.

And another thing is KORE is a failure I dont really like it the morphing part is ok mice but it sounds thin weak.

I have many KORE packages I dont know if someone can bring it close to all these monsters.
