I wonder what you guys think of this design.

This is a dummy.. proper text will be added etc. but this file should probably make some sense.

It looks very good. Clean and professional.
I guess it's modeled after the old Deutche Grammophone records.
The photo is not the kind of image I would choose for my music, but I assume it's consistent with the style you're trying to project.

THX. Yup.. partly inspired by the DG covers.

This is a series of pieces of "WW2" music. So the image fits. Actually.. I did pick something a bit more explicit at first but most people think that is a bit over the top. I am still looking into getting the rights for using some pretty nasty ones for the inner sleeve

I did not do this cover. A real pro designer did this one. We discussed the ideas and he came up with this one. His first name is Håvard which translates to Howard

Kudos on the work. Reminds me of A time Magazine cover mixed with some of the early "Rephlex" cover work.....

That cover has impact... for sure!!

elektro80 - do you have music samples of your recent works online anywhere? I'd like to hear what you are doing.

Several have sent me mail asking for the name and contact info of the designer who did my cover.

He is an excellent dude. His name is Håvard Gjelseth and he has his website at: http://www.thiswaydesign.com/

This is his private little design company. His daytime job is as a designer at Klapp ( http://www.klapp.no ) and he is the boss of their office in Oslo, Norway.

Hiya Stein,

Are you still going to use this cover design?
It suits what I have heard.

Does this mean that an SG release is imminent?

That's great!

I've listened to your online tracks and I like it a lot! I'd love to be able to get it all on full quality CD. Oh, and the cover is great Very Happy

Edit to add trivia:
Yesterday Utmost Savagery was on heavy rotation here; looping for maybe 5 or 6 hours looping while testing DSP code (!)

i like the dg label idea, i associate it with classical music more than electronic, and it makes sense for what will surely be an amazing classical album.

Stein,

I was just going to say....Deutsche Grammophon- but egw and Seraph beat me to it.

Really nice artwork :) I like the triangle logo's on the CD too.
