You're creating quite a backlog of projects for me : )

I would definitely like a couple of boards.

I have one of these Moog Parametric Equalizers.

A very worthy clone project - this particular PE is more effective than any I have heard. I got an Aphex PE for the less demanding EQ task but it doesn't compare to the Moog.

The semi-parametrics in the Moog Synamps were effective too, but they also use exotic dual-ganged pots.

But, jürgen... how many different PCB projects are you on ??

I plan to continue rolling out pcbs until you all get tired of it. Laughing
JH.

That's a relief to hear! Wink

Speaking of PCB projects, I guess this old Moog EQ thread is almost superseded by this one:
"Resonator Section of Polymoog ... as a standalone module"
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-32236.html

Just so nobody misses it! Smile And btw, on Thu Aug 13 2009, I posted some thoughts about possible CV control of its peak frequencies, for the ones of you who might be looking for this particular added feature.

Anyway, The Polymoog Resonators and the Moog EQ seem different - and the Polymoog uses much more reasonable potentiometers (10k log, 10k lin, 10k dual lin... instead of 25k lin, 100k dual reverse log, 500R lin / 50k log bizarre dual combo) and should be a bit easier to build.

Nothing is forgotten, even though priority shifts from one project to another ...

But these "vintage" things are all different and in some way unique - or they wouldn't stand out as a "classic" from hundreds(?) of other 2-pole filter designs.

I'm looking for a good parametric eq as well, so I would be interested in four PCBs if they ever get made. What's the status of this project? (Also the Famous Fixed Filter one...)

I think this may be of interest for some of you :
http://www.acoupel.com/Modules_Analogiques/acs_parametric.htm

It is in French but should be translated into english soon

Ah merci! That looks pretty good. Small board as well. Would HEIGHT be the resonance of the filter (WIDTH?) or the gain?

I was thinking to make a little EQ section for each voice of my synth (four in total) with High Shelf, Low Shelf and two of these parametrics. Maybe with dual pots (inner and outer rings) I could squeeze the space down a bit.

Anybody have a good suggestion for the High and Low Shelf filters?
