Facebook, Twitter, navigation Subject description: Suggestions for electro-music.com |
|

I have a few suggestions:
1. Anyone wan to get electro-music.com on Facebook?
2. Ditto Twitter?
3. How about navigation so that on sub-domains (event, for example), a user can jump directly to another part of electro-music.com? As it is now, if I'm on event, I have to go up to the browser address bar and type it in, or just back up a number of times to get to the main page.
I volunteer to help with any of these. |

Thanks for the FB links. I guess we don't need a third one!
Events: http://event.electro-music.com/
On this page, there is no navigation to other areas of electro-music.com.
Twitter: This is something I wouldn't mind setting up. The problem is, I'm not as privy to what's going on as an admin would be, and I wouldn't want to do it without the permission/consensus of the admins. |

Indeed, except for the two links to the front page ... there are a couple of subdomains on electro-music.com, events being one of those. These are usually treated to be seperate entities apart from the main site ... but anyway, I'm not sure who is responsible for the events section ... Greg Waltzer I guess? _________________ Jan

I don't know about any of the other admins. But I wonder if an automated process could be designed as an auto-tweeting process. I know that if I send email from a certain address of mine to Posterous it gets posted automatically on my Posterous blog. Unfortunately, I don't think that Twitter has that ability.

I have my Audiodef Facebook page auto-post to Twitter, which in turn auto-posts to my Facebook personal page.
Since I have this set up, I got over Twitter pretty quick. I just check it now and then. |
