Thanks Dale, I liked your's too - that looped banjo stuff by you is something special.

And I made a couple of recordings too ... but .. erm ... I still had some FX on while doing so ... most notably a delay effect and some chorus ... but anyway I recorded :

02:00 Pehr Meldert
02:30 The Amber Portal
03:00 Inventor
03:30 Mosc

and those are available to the performers.

Jan, If you could pm me the recording of my segment, I'll post it. Thanks.

Les

Here is my performance at AE09. It starts with an upbeat song by Antimon and then we get into the first performance demo of the ChucK Klee! More Klee music than you can shake a stick at this weekend. Have a listen if you missed it, the show went fairly well.

Will there be one link where all the recordings can be d/l'd from, instead of many individual posts?

Forgot to hit record, but I've gotta practice for a duet with Mosc on the 30th. I'll post that.

Oops, I found a copy of this thing tonight, seems worth posting. I guess I must have hit record after all Rolling Eyes

I played the acoustic banjo-only, initial part of this piece at my Mom's funeral last summer.

Jan.

Thanks! That cello-like bass voice is all 5-string banjo transposed in Live. I had forgotten about that.

My son Jeremy and I were talking about listening to our old pieces after I rediscovered that one. It's not about vanity or past glory, but rather about using the samples to remember ideas that we had, that we did *not* pursue. There are threads in the piece that went one way, that might have gone another. By forgetting about those threads, one forgets the other directions in which those threads might have gone.

It's also interesting to hear the threads that persist to this day.

I propose that we all need to listen to our old stuff after an absence. It can be like remembering childhood

Have a good weekend!
