Ok it's been to long....

Time for progress shots! I'm really trying to steadily add as many modules as possible, but had to take a pause to place it in a better box, so here it is. The panel work and wiring continues, and there's a long list of stuff to add. As it stands now :

Top Row:
6x 40106 oscs
555 timer
4040
4094
4069
4093
4017
NAND
NOR
XOR

Bottom Row:
Little Summers
3x R/2R DACs
1x Portamento
Space for the Simple Diode VCAs Richard64 linked to. (Will also do the other two he posted as panels.)
2x YAVCO (One so far)
2x NAND VCO (One so far)
2x 4051/4017 Melody Gens (One so far)
4 Channel Mixer with 1/4" out

And there's another empty shelf under this to fill.

Hope you like!

The wiring continues...

Quick patch (in the dark) to see if everything still works;

Looking good, I like the 'UFO in the dark' feel of the video. Smile
Been meaning to get a 4013 into my machine, are you finding it useful?

very usefull, yeah. Good fun at audio speeds with a bunch of 40106s feeding it, or more controlled in combination with logic gates to make rythm patterns.

I found 2 (& 2 4029s) in the dusty recesses of my local DSE... I'm just glad one of em worked! Laughing

hello,
here's one of my latest Lunetta style incarnations: The Voice Of Reason... not always what we'd like to hear eh?

the box has progressed to finished stage since the video was shot, but knowing myself it'd take me ages to redo a video... Wink

so here it is...

http://vimeo.com/5461835

thanks to all in this forum who have in a way or another helped me build this thing

Hey Psyingo, I found your album on that site a couple weeks ago and showed it to a friend. Really great stuff! I especially enjoy "Who Knows" Puts me in another place. Do you use your lunetta in any of your songs?

Psyingo, please consider posting those tunes to the nearby "Lunetta Show" thread so I can air them on electro-music.com radio. That is, if you don't mind me airing them, recording them, and posting the show.

Great video. The Lunetta looks great and sounds fabulous. I loved your narration. Keep those videos coming. And thanks for spreading the word about Lunettas and electro-music.com.

thanks again, for the kind words.

@Inventor: when i get some stuff recorded and uploaded ill be sure to shoot it your way.

I've already started my second lunetta; have the 'simple VCA' thats been posted around here on a protoboard. works nicely. gonna build a power suppyl and throw a bunch of stuff together. a bit more usefull then the one in the video i posted. more flexibility.
