Can't open chat |
|
|
I'm sure it's some thing stupid I'm doing. I used chat a couple of times, then tried to again after several weeks and couldn't log on to. I've tried both IE and FireFox. Only clues I have:
•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.
SSL and TLS options are enabled on both browsers.
I'm running Vista 64
any additional clues appreciated.

If you are talking about our little chat client with links on the forum and radio pages, it is not a Java client, just javascript.
Please go to mibbit.com and see if you can run the client on their page. They have a little demo chat room. We just signed up for premium membership so that the mibbit client will not show ads to people who use if for our chat room. _________________ --Howard

We go through a chat server provided by mibit.com
Sometimes it gets overloaded and the chat windows won't work. I looked into this and decided to go for there premium service which gives higher priority and no ads. It's worth the money. Contributions to electro-music.com go to pay for stuff like this. Thanks. _________________ --Howard
