I wish Nord would bring out a version of the editor that functioned as a plugin (VSTi say) in a similar way to the new virus TI so you could integrate it better into sequencers etc.

I don't see why it's necessary. Any time you change configuration with the editor, the sound stops; so I can't imagine wanting to do so quickly as part of a plugin.

If you want to change parameters in a patch, you can change just about anything with MIDI CC assignments, which also don't require a plugin.

If you want to switch from one patch to another, you can do that with a Midi Program Change message.

Finally, you can even replace an entire patch wholesale by dumping the patch into a file and sending the contents of the file later.

So I don't quite understand what a G2-specific VST editor would buy.

if it autosyncs with cubase would be ok. I can't think of any more advantages.

Yes that will be realy great !
but will be too much better if they release standrad VSTi plugin like Waldorf Largo.
I think before years I tried Demo of Modular on PC it was sounds realy great but it was only demo and standalone...
Hope in future
