Is each track of the MMT-8 polyphonic - that is to say - will I be able to record chords from a synth?

Also, I read that this device, which I bought for $30 bucks and am waiting for a power supply to come in, is super-easy to use and is great for live performance. I know that you can edit the parts, but I am worried that this would be too tedious and not user-friendly as I am used to step sequencing. I read the manual and I saw how to edit notes, but because I didn't see a way to edit the notes of a chord, I got nervous.

I'm trying to get away from using a computer for a while, but if I record parts live and feel good about its quantizing, I may keep it.

Thanks

Yes, each track is polyphonic

editing chords is the same as editing single notes except they all have the same (or similar) start time (depending on whether you quantise)

The MMT-8 is a cool sequencer and well worth $30 IMO

Thanks, but I've got one. I don't use it much as I have an array of sequencers, but I keep it just in case I ever need it for a project

The MMT-8 can even record multiple MIDI channels on one track. That's amazingly sophisticated, considering that many DAW's these days can't do this.
