Hi everbody!

I recently got an old Hohner PK40 Keyboard from my girlfriend. The main problem is, that the amp seems to be nuts. I can turn it on, but the sound is hard to hear. Even the headphone out doesn't work. I opened the board an managed to find out, that a LA4138 amplifier chip is used.

Has anyone bended, worked with that keyboard? I cannot find out anything 'bout ist. It seems to be digital, but I'm not sure if it's fully digital or hybrid (as often constructed in the 80s). Can anyone tell me more? Maybe an idea how to repair/modify/bend it?

I also got an old Yamaha PS-3 with defect push buttons. Sound is ok. Anyone modded or bendet this one yet?

Thanks for help! Smile

Juno
