I made a patch today inspired by the Korg Mono/Poly (which I sold last week Sad :

If you are not familiar with the Mono/Poly...the nice thing about it is that it has 4 VCO/oscies which you can play polyphonic, but each oscie can have its own waveform and pitch, it also has an arpeggiator which arpeggiates between the 4 Oscies, giving quite interesting results. The Vermona Perfourmer also does something like that.

The patch is pretty ghetto...I used a construction of an 8 counter and some Envelopes (one for each VCO) to scan the keyboard so the patch knows which VCO must be played. If you want to play monophonic you have to turn on the KB buttons on the 4 purple envelopes.
(I am pretty sure there must be a better and smaller construction to do this).

There is no Sync or Xmod and it really doesn't sound like a Mono/Poly at all but it was more a study how to solve the Mono/Poly -each-note-has-a- different-VCO- problem. Also the most powerfull factor of the Mono/Poly the chord memory is missing but you can try how it works with the Chord Memory patch that is here somewhere I think.

Are there any other Mono/Poly-like patches? Or do you think you can improve on this?

Oh yeah...I think variation 2 comes closest to the Mono/Poly sound...

I've never played a mono/poly, and I've never knowingly heard one either, but this patch here is fantastic! Whether it sounds like a mono/poly or not, the patch can produce some great sounds. Thanks! Cool

Yes, I've never heard one knowingly either. This is very cool.
