I tought it would be nice to have some kind of software where I could fade tracks into each other, and play them in sequence in some easy way, choosing songs from the harddrive on the fly. You can click the play button in Finder, but I'm always nervous that I'm going to change folders and kill the song.. Laughing And loading Live with ten songs feels impractical.

Any tips for good, tried DJ software on the Mac? I get some hits on Google, but I would like an informed opinion.

/Stefan

Have you checked DeKstasy?
It has been some time since I last used it but it worked fine for me then.
It does what you need and has a simple interface.
Don't know if it still works on new Macs so here's an alternative:

I thought I'd try Mixxx first, since I don't feel like running PPC code. It acted up until I lowered the latency (!) - feels like a good app. Thanks again for the tips.
