Would a Moogerfooger LP filter work with my Doepfer modular? (i.e. integrated into the synth in the same way as a filter module)

I dont think CV is a problem (other than only one cv in but thats OK).

Im not too bothered about the 1/4" to 1/8" leads issue (I'd probably make a little patch panel in the Doepfer)

What about levels? I suspect the output may be a bit low to patch back into the modular....

Any other thoughts/suggestions/restrictions? £188 for a Moog filter and envelope follower seems too good...plus I can take it to gigs....

Cheers

S

Should work fine. I use Moogerfoogers with my various modular kit all the time.

For the most part the moogerfooger will work fine. As you mention though, the audio levels are lower than you would typically find in a modular filter. The MF-101 filter has CV input for cutoff frequency, resonance, and crossfade mix of raw and filtered audio. The filter and envelope follower share the same audio input jack, so the two functions are not totally independent.

Check out my experience with using the moogerfooger filter with a Nord Modular G2X here:
