sometimes notes get stuck when patches change while note hasn't finished yet.
could that be a problem? might try to reduce release to prevent this problem |

Hey mate,
nah, i know what you mean there but im not even changing patches , ive got 4 patches setup in mix mode in a6 and im trying to mulitimbral midi sequence them. Ableton has a beat playing and im just trying to record midi on channel 1, a synth groove from the a6 and layer so forth with the 3 other synth patches and just playing along on the same synth patch notes are stickin very regulary rendering using mix mode useless in the a6 but when in program mode of the a6 the notes dont stick when im doin the same thing? Do you have sucess multitimbral midi sequencing in mix mode in the a6? |

Hello, do you do it in ableton or logic or something else ? , with the midi loop? here are my a6 global midi settings : i leave the global panel midi tx mode to local because it causes mayhem in ableton since its no good with midi NRPN and i have the keyboard midi tx to midi (local off) and in mix mode my midi channels are mostly set midi in and out:on, midi cc:on, midi vol.n, midi prg:on, midi aft. on. My ableton midi channels are just routed from: a6 , and to: 4 different midi channels with 1 synth sound on each channel, any other ideas mate? just wish i could get it workin without these notes stickin , theyll stick and when i stop ableton they will stop stickin? |

cubase, just tried again:
mix: playing the a6, locmid, leftside/part1 midich1, rightsidekeyboard/part2midich2
record,
playback and record again with midich3+4
play al 4 parts (up to 16 notes simultanously )
start stop start, 10 minutes
not one hanger.....
took me 2 minutes to set the thing up
just notes, no other midicontr/ pitchbend and so used, no fancy stuff
maybe the sequencer , or the midiinterface, i don't know
the a6 is showing its good site overhere.. |

start with simple note on/off sequence, one part in mix mode.
avoid midisync, extensive controller info etc.
might even try with just one midicable connected and swapping when playback or record.
that way build it up slowly.
should work, succes ! |
