Another Patch I have been working on called "Memory Korg" and its
a fantasy synthesizer of what could happen if you crossbreed a Korg PS3100 and Moog Memorymoog into one synth.

The Korg PS3100 is a fully polyphonic (48 voices!) analog synth from the 70ies with a special resonator filter, which is basicly 3 bandpass filters set parrallel which are floating all over the place by LFO's (Klaus Schulze's "Some velvet Phasing" is this sound...a very distinctive dreamy atmosphere). The resonator was pretty easy to make, just 3 bandpass filters with an LFO each sweeping one.

The Memory Moog element is that instead of 1 VCO it has 3 VCO's, errr thats about it for the Memory Moog element Smile.

Variation 3 is the closest to the typical PS3100 sound.

Ofcourse this one hasn't got 48 voices, maybe if you put it in a performance you can pump up the polyphony.

This is a great patch. Each of the variations are unique and highly distinctive. I've loaded it into my G2X. Fine Work.
Thanks for posting it Smackos!

I like this one Cool

I've thought to add FX and some Envelope to Pitch Shift controls.
Hope you like it Very Happy
I think this patch has still more to offer in possible variations.

Thanks Smackos

Is it anyway based on the real PS3100 or just an own freak idea?

Very nice patch.
I like your idea of taking features from multiple synths and putting them together. The memory moog was probably the best synth Moog ever made. The PS3100 was a great looking synth but I never cared much for it’s organ style polyphony and imitation modularity. The 3200 & 3300 were better due to extra oscillators, the 3200 even had digital memory!
The only other synth that I know of that used the brute force ‘synth for every key’ technique was the polymoog. Even with two ‘oscillators’ per voice, the polymoog was a bit of a pig.
