Studio/Stream Pics |
|
|
Hi everyone....
I am so happy with my new studio/streaming set up that I wanted to share it.
I love tight compact setups and after much refining Ive got this streamlined much the way I need for the instruments.
This is about 1/2 of the set up... most of the synths and electronics that I currently use.
Unseen is the Asus laptop to the right... and a large percussion pit to the right of that. I will post pics of this side of the room too.

Very nice Shane!! It looks open and spacious, but everything still within reach - perfect!
Is that a custom desk or one that just fit your needs nicely? _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

Thanks Eike and Rob!
The desk is a "V" shape and about 10 years old and made for CRT type computer monitors. I intended from the start to use it for music...eventually I have.
I did custom build the corner section shelves that hold the monitor and the pc above it ( not pictured). As well as the shelving on the walls (also not pictured).
Yeah things are in good reach... making it easier to improvise and record more quickly with... as well as monitor the chat and edcast when streaming. _________________ ElectroCasa |

Thanks Dave... It's a great instrument. Despite that it's over 10 years old. I also have the spd-20 and the whole percussion section hooked up to the Akai Headrush pedal for live looping as well.

Indeed Vibes!
Percussion and mallets were my primary instruments. I began an interest in electronic instruments through extending my percussion with the malletkat (midi mallet instrument), Spd-20, and sampler. From there Ive just gotten more involved in the world of electronics, synths, midi controllers, and recently using computers for music.
New plan is to start using contact mics and bows on some of those percussion instruments, water bowls, and gongs, for use in my current musical realms. _________________ ElectroCasa |

Nice Shane. Thanks for sharing those pictures. I love the layout and that percussion pit is the coolest !!! I do see that 909 in front of you to
Hmmm, When I get in the "finished" basement, I think I will setup up a similar "pit". I like the idea. I have an SPD20 and SPD6 and NI battery for sample based synthesis. Now some acoustic percussion would round things out
Nice !

Thanks Bill
You have some nice eperc stuff to play with as well... NI battery looks like a good one!
Yeah adding some acoustic stuff with effects can go along way _________________ ElectroCasa |
